《Mirrors》 (2025)
《Mirrors》 was Park's first solo exhibition at WWW SPACE in 2024, showcasing experimental videos she has created over the past few years. Over the last five years, she has immersed herself in re-examining the essence of existentialism, inspired by Nietzsche's provocative statement, "Live dangerously!"; she has also been engrossed in examining the emotional contradictions that arise between the past and the present, as well as the lingering impressions that emerge from these clashes of desire. The exhibition title, Mirrors, is borrowed from her notable experimental short film Mirrors (2021). It reflects the ironic moments and journeys of seeing and confronting oneself for the first time through another person, much like the process of looking into a mirror. In this sense, the works in this exhibition embody keywords such as 'self-reflection,' 'an attitude of honesty toward oneself,' and 'introspection.' The artist still remains in the process of embracing the meaninglessness of existence and pursuing an authentic, unpretentious life.
